Who doesn’t love the holidays? Turn the fireplace on, play some holiday music and drink hot chocolate. As soon as December hits I’m always quick to turn back into a child! I love that there is a specific time of year that focuses on gifting to other people and the power of giving. Yet as the countdown begins it’s important not to forget yourself, too. For that reason I have compiled a list of my ten favorite gifts that can be wrapped up just for you! Everything listed below is under $100 and can be used to make time and space for self-care.
The Kitten candle is a signature scent from Catbird, a Brooklyn boutique and one of my favorites for holiday gifting. While browsing their site for jewelry for others I found this candle for myself. It smells of nostalgia and while not specifically holiday scented it brings a warmth to any room you place it in. Bonus! It comes with a complimentary pack of matches, all you need to get started on setting the mood for your own holiday self-care ritual. Price $38.
Holiday decorating can seem overwhelming, bring totes down, clean everything, put it all out in its perfect place. Enter, Farmgirl Flowers. This gem was originally introduced to me by a good girl friend of mine and their fun size bouquets have quickly become a favorite of mine. Yes, I order flowers for myself. There is nothing better than receiving a gift in the mail and it quickly adding to your holiday cheer! Price $49.
It’s known that I’m slightly obsessed with my BKR bottle. Hydration is something that I take seriously and if I can do it in style even better. With all the holiday travel coming up I love the idea of this BKR set to take hydration along. Buy two, keep one for you! Price $80.
With all the holiday parties coming up it’s important to find a beauty product that speaks to you and your style but also feels new! For me, this was the MTHRSHP palette from Pat McGrath! It has the warmest tones and when I go to get ready I will know I took the time this holiday season to treat myself to something brand new and extra special just for me! Price $55.
Okay if you’re going to wear make-up and travel and being under stress there is no better recovery for your face, in my opinion, than the Joanna Vargas line of face masks. The euphoria mask is my favorite and I use it at least once a week when I’m traveling to places that have bitter cold winters that will dry out my skin. Price $75 for 5.
This might be my absolute favorite find this year, the pearl wishing bracelet from Catbird! While I might not be able to afford diamonds for myself this is a good way to buy a pearl! The freshwater pearl is on a simple string but it is the concept behind the bracelet that has my heart. You make a wish and tie on the bracelet and when it falls off your wish will come true! So cute! Price $16.
Not enough time for a bath with all the holiday madness and family time? Cool, you still have to shower! That is at least 10 minutes of time you get to yourself so why not make it a self-care spa treatment? Enter the shower bomb from Mer-Sea & Co. This one is Coconut Sugar and it is blended with hints of musk, vanilla, and rose. It’s a nice and easy way to take a few minutes to yourself to just relax and inhale. Price $7.
Is it just me or are soft, fuzzy socks a must have for the holidays? We travel to my Mom’s house in Michigan for the holidays and while I love a winter wonderland I love it even more when I can curl up in my pajamas and fuzzy socks next to the fireplace! Price $15.
The key to all holiday success both before and during! Sleep! For me I get so anxious to buy all my gifts, get everything decorated, travel, see family and catch up that often I forget to get a good nights rest which ultimate catches up to me and wears me down. Planning for sleep and making it as enjoyable as possible is the ultimate holiday gift and self-care for me! That is why I’m including the deep sleep pillow spray. It is a mixture of lavender, vetivert and camomile and helps calm you down before you close your eyes. Also, their site notes this is suitable for use during pregnancy! Yay! Price $29.
And last but certainly not least is the gorgeous slip silk sleep mask! This mask is not only on my bedside prior to the holidays but in my carry on as we travel and with me at each destination. If you’re hoping time zones like crazy like I will be a sleep mask is necessary! This one comes in 24 colors and can be hot stamped for an additional $25 if you’re feeling extra creative. Price $50.
